Collaboration for By the Pound show

Photo taken by Vincent Luk, print stretched on 8"x8"canvas and painted on in acrylic.

I decided to take the idea of a past memory, like the one which was photographed, from the dog's (koji) perspective. I tried to translate the idea of a memory possibly stored and remembered through a dream in which Koji views himself from a third person point of view. His peaceful sleeping body floats along Mirror Lake in Banff as his owner probably often stands above his sleeping body while he rests, giggles at his legs twitching wondering where his fuzzy buddy has taken off to in the dream world.

I stare at the same view on Queen W for quiet a few hours each weekend...haha oh well I still love the buildings and houses turned stores along the street...could be worse...i did come from the very scenic Oshawa

My friend V's little worn change purse was nice to stare at over our pints on the table, pretty sweet way to waste some time.

Banff, AB

The water runs turquoise and the air is cold and fresh. Nice break from the Toronto smog although I am spending my last week of summer freezing here in the rockies. I'll probably rescan the second drawing and have more from the west :)
